Terms and Conditions
Payment can be made through Paypal, Credit Card or Direct Deposit into our account in advance of delivery, unless otherwise approved. There may be surcharges for credit card transactions as applicable. All payments are net, unless arranged with the approval in writing, by Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd. Official quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of delivery of the quote.
Purchase orders placed by any person, or firm or company through its employees, whether in writing or verbally, are deemed to accept these terms and conditions.
Custom orders accepted by Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd, for products specially manufactured to Customer specifications, requires a 50% deposit of the value of the goods and cannot be cancelled. The outstanding balance is due following installation of fixed furniture, prior to delivery for loose items or as stated on the original quotation or subsequent invoice.
Cancellation of Orders
To cancel an order, the Customer must make the request in writing and prior to the delivery of the goods. Where Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd agrees at the Customers request to cancel an order prior to delivering the goods, Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd reserves the right to charge for all costs incurred prior to the cancellation of the order, and to charge a cancellation fee of up to 30% of the price of the goods.
Custom orders cannot be cancelled. Once the goods have been produced the customer will be liable for the full price of the goods.
Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd reserves the right to commercially match colours and/or substitute without notice. Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd reserves the right to alter the specifications for future orders and can not guarantee to match any previous orders.
Property of the goods shall remain with Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd until full payment is received. If payment is not received, or at its discretion, Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd may re-take possession of the goods in the control of the Customer.
Extra Labour // Product Assembly
An extra labour and/or assembly fee may be charged at the discretion of Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd. Unless otherwise stated pricing does not include extra labour or assembly of goods.
Refunds // Change of Mind
Deposits and payments in full will not be refunded by Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd due to change of mind.
Defect // Returns // Exchange
Upon delivery of the goods and inspection by the Customer, the Customer must notify Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd within 3 business days of the delivery of any alleged defect, shortage in quantity, damage or failure to comply with the description or quote. The Customer must allow Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd an opportunity to inspect the goods, within a reasonable time following notification by the Customer of the issue. Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd reserves the right to correct any goods delivered that do not meet specifications and requirements. If goods are received and do not meet the exact specifications, Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd has the right to exchange goods only.
Delivery Lead Time
Quoted delivery lead times are calculated in business working days. The delivery lead time stated is from receipt of the deposit with an accepted order and are subject to third party supplier lead times and deliveries. Any delays in transportation cannot be held responsible by Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd. Due to our orders being customised for every product, lead times and delivery times can not always be guaranteed.
Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd takes no responsibiliy or ownership of your items once they have been delivered to the intended address and proof of delivery has been provided to us by our transport company. It is the Customer’s responsibiliy to have an appropriate party at the delivery address to receive the delivery, otherwise the delivery of goods will be left at an appropriate location deemed by the driver acceptable with proof of delivery provided. It is the Customer’s responsibiliy to choose the most appropriate delivery method for their order. Any charges and fees associated with the transfer, storage and redelivery of an order is the Customer’s responsibility.
Unless otherwise specified, the following warranty applies to all Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd products: One (1) year for all seating products. Should the goods prove to be defective within this period, and provided that the damage is not due to misuse of the goods or from fair wear and tear, Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd will at its discretion, replace or repair defective goods at our expense. The Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd warranty will only apply to goods being used for their designed purpose, any alteration to this or modification to the product outside of the original purpose will void all warranties. Any of the products warranted that are misused will void all warranties.
Warranty claims must quote the invoice number and date of purchase. All warranty claims are subject to approval by Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd. The Customer is responsible for the risk of goods being returned to Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd and any cost of freight for the said goods. All Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd product’s need to be maintained on a regular basis using appropriate care. Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd cannot be held responsible for goods exposed to/or lack of maintenance and due care.
Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd warranty does not cover:
- Any damage caused by unreasonable use
- Failure to provide proper care and maintenance
- Normal fading due to light / sunlight
- Incorrect or improper use of cleaning agents or care products or other unknown agents
The Customer hereby disclaims the right to cancel the contract, sue for damages or to claim restitution arising out of any misrepresentations made to him by any servant or agent of Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd. The Customer acknowledges that the purchase is made solely by their own judgement and ruling and Stylefurn Australia Pty Ltd shall not be bound or responsible for any term, condition or warranty other than the warranty given by the manufacturer and is personal to the customer and is not transferable to any subsequent customer.
Jurisdiction is deemed to be made in the State of Western Australia and all disputes here-under shall be determined by the appropriate courts of Western Australia.
